Welcome To My Desired Results of Student Learning.
DRSL stands for DESIRED RESULTS of STUDENT LEARNING. This isn't only an abbreviation, but also a goal and standard for all students. For every student there should be three subjects of learning that should be accomplished and executed by terms of their uses, these are:
Effective Communications:
Effective Communication is one of the three learning and accomplishing groups resulting from DRSL's. To achieve Effective Communication you'll have to be able to communicate yourself well in not only your writing, but also socially too. Examples of Effective Communication result in effective papers that show how you have an experience in the 6 basics of writing: strong organization, well-developed ideas, appropriate voice, sentence fluency, interesting and appropriate word choice, and standard writing conventions. In terms of presentation, you'll need to reach an achievement and experience in these forms of social effective communications: To be able to communicate clearly in work groups, classroom discussions, and presentations by demonstrating active listening, appropriate tone and body language, strong support for ideas, and effective visual accompaniments.
Critical Thinking:
Rather than resulting in how effectively someone can communicate themselves and in paper, Critical Thinking involves how much effort you put into an idea, message, or whatever they're trying to communicate. This effort involving Critical Thinking involves researching and evidence to back up claims that are sure and true towards themselves. What comes with Critical Thinking is the open attitudes of being disposed in considerations of thinking through subjects, issues, or problems within a range of experiences and perspectives. Critical Thinking also comes with the knowledge and executions of logical inquiry and reasoning: "Critical thinking calls for a persistent effort to examine any belief or supposed form of knowledge in the light of the evidence that supports it and the further conclusions to which it tends.”
Integration and Application Into The Real World:
The last and the most important resulting factor of learning and integration of student DRSL's: Integration and Application. What makes this largely important is how effectively students are taught to apply learned knowledge into a real fashion of functionality into a student's own personal life. This last "desired result" results in a culmination of every other desired results and knowledge gathered from students and placed into real life contexts. This can result in: being more informed in topics, arguments, and subjects, integrate knowledge in form of effective uses in work or voluntary work, inform others of facts to bring more Critical Thinking in an area of subject, integrating basic knowledge of Math, Science, and English into personal problems or issues and trying to fix those issues. So basically: “Integration and application of knowledge in civic, social and personal contexts.”
